How it works
Name a dated goal, add the accounts funding it by hand, and see whether you'll arrive. No bank logins — you enter what you want the plan to see.
Name it, set a target amount and date — emergency fund, home, retirement.
Add balances and monthly contributions by hand. One account, one goal.
Boscelli shows whether you'll get there — and exactly what to change if not.
The what-if tool
Drag the levers — contribution, expected return, target date — and watch the projection move. Here a goal falling $25,093 short is brought back on track by adding $400a month. It's the actual engine — nothing here is a mockup.
Grounded in reality
Boscelli starts from what actually comes in and goes out each month, so every contribution is money you really have. What's left is what's free to put toward a goal.

Manual entry — no bank connections. Encrypted in transit and at rest. No ads, and we never sell your data.
You decide exactly what the plan sees — nothing is pulled in automatically — and you can update or remove anything, anytime.
Boscelli shows projections and what-ifs — never an instruction to move money. See the math on our Methodology page.
Questions
How it works
Boscelli projects each account forward with compound growth to your target date, using the balance, monthly contribution, and expected return you set — then compares the projected value against your target to determine status. One projection engine is the single source of truth for every figure on the screen. The full method is on our Methodology page.
Most tools divide your target by the number of months and track what you've set aside — an envelope. Boscelli projects where you'll actually be: it accounts for growth over time and tells you whether you'll arrive, and by how much you'll fall short if you won't. Envelope trackers tell you what you've saved. Boscelli tells you where you're headed.
Three tiers, computed fresh every time from today's date and your current balances — never a stored score. On track: projected to meet or beat the goal. At risk: close, but trending short — a small change fixes it. Off track:projected to miss by a meaningful margin. “At risk” is an early nudge, not a failure.
Yes — that's the whole point. Boscelli is organized around your goals (emergency fund, a home, college, retirement, whatever matters), not a single net-worth number. You can see how they're all tracking together and run a “Could I afford to…” scenario across your entire plan.
A dream is a goal you're not funding yet — a house, a wedding, a trip — that you want to keep in view without it affecting your numbers. Dreams carry no accounts and don't touch your cash flow until you're ready. When you are, “Make it real” links an account and it becomes a full, projected goal.
Today each account is linked to a single goal, which keeps every projection unambiguous. Splitting one account across multiple goals is on the roadmap, but for now the cleanest plans give each goal its own account.
Trust & your data
No. Boscelli is manual-entry by design — you add your accounts and balances yourself, and update them when they change. There's no bank login, no Plaid, no background syncing. You stay in control of exactly what the plan sees, and nothing talks to your bank.
No. We don't sell or share your financial data, and there's nothing connected to your bank to leak. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Basics
Yes — Boscelli is free while in beta, and no card is required to start. When paid plans arrive later, we'll tell you clearly before anything changes.
No — and this is deliberate. Boscelli is a planning and projection tool. It shows you where your goals are heading and what would change the outcome; it never tells you to buy a product, move money, or make a specific financial decision. The projections are yours to act on.
Yes. The what-if tool lets you drag the levers — target date, target amount, monthly contribution, expected return — and see the projection update instantly, without saving anything. When a scenario looks right, “Apply” writes it in one step. It never touches your account balances.
That's the question Boscelli is built to answer. When a goal is at risk or off track, we don't just flag it — we show the gap and what closes it: exactly how much more per month to get back on track, or how many months you'd need to extend the target date. You get a specific number to act on, not a warning light.
Start building toward the goals that matter — not just a number on a balance sheet.
